The Silence Before Launch! Medusa, Material, and the SkullBloom Universe
The SkullBloom website is almost online. A moment where months of thinking, creating, deleting, doubting, and refining come together. The photo accompanying this blog post shows Isadora Skulheart holding a piece from the Medusa series . An image that symbolizes everything SkullBloom stands for: art, skull art, beauty, strength, and stillness .
Behind the scenes, we're busy with the final material tests . We don't want to leave anything to chance. The sculptures have arrived in sizes ranging from 40x60 cm to the monumental 150x225 cm . Today we're unpacking everything, carefully, with gloves, with attention. More than 40 new works are now ready to be viewed, touched, and experienced.
That feels… exciting. Really exciting.
Hendrik Skulman and Isadora Skulheart both experience this. Because this is the moment when the SkullBloom universe isn't just an idea, but becomes tangible. Material texture, sheen, depth—everything has to be right. Art shouldn't just be beautiful on a screen, but also come alive on the wall .
We're incredibly happy. And honestly? A little nervous too.
But especially proud that SkullBloom is almost ready to be released into the world.
